ABOUT VICTORIA

Victoria Templeton, M.S., LMFT

I love working with all types of clients from diverse backgrounds but my heart belongs to working with "outsiders." People who feel like they are different or don't belong. I have often felt like I am an "out of the box" type of person but have learned to love it and thrive in a life I have built around what works for me. I want to be able to help others do the same!

I have experience working with all types of adolescent clients, including doing a 14-month internship at Montgomery County Juvenile Probation Center. I also have experience working with individuals, couples, families, children 7 and older, and have worked with clients who have experienced trauma, and I am alternative lifestyle friendly.

I graduated with my Masters in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University. I have a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University. My passion for working with people has been within me for as long as I can remember. Before pursuing my calling as a mental health professional I worked with individuals and families through professional ministry, and a multitude of child development opportunities and jobs.

When I am not in the office, you can usually find me in the gym! I am a huge fan of working out. As an avid martial arts enthusiast, I have trained in multiple arts but currently am an amateur Muay Thai fighter and study Brazilian Jujitsu for fun.
